Government leadership program
Government Leadership Program is designed to empower outstanding public sector employees with the skills, knowledge, and expand networks necessary to lead with confidence and influence. By fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and ethical leadership, we are building a cadre of change makers who can drive sustainable progress and prosperity in Qatar.
Qatar Leadership Centre programs combine theoretical education and practical training and are developed in cooperation with world-class educational partners from prestigious local and international universities and institutes.
The primary language of training is Arabic.
The Centre organizes a series of events to attract leaders from various fields to talk about important issues related to developing and enhancing the skills of national leaders.
Affiliates participate in several complementary activities, including seminars and field visits to the most prominent leaders in ministries and government bodies.
Learning trips
Participants in government leadership programs are required to go on a learning trip outside the State of Qatar in order to benefit directly from the experience of leaders in other countries and expand the circle of knowledge and its application in the State of Qatar.
Program Focus
From
the Government Leaders Program, participants will gain skills and knowledge
that they can apply in their workplace, including:
- Policymaking
- Strategic management
- Strategies and implications of decision making.
- Understanding of ethical issues in the workplace
- Leadership skills, with an emphasis on innovation and teamwork
- Communication and relationship management
- Strategies to deliver results through planning and problem solving.
- Measuring and improving performance.
