Qatar Leadership Centre is keen to ensure merit and competence by setting high standards for selecting applicants. Applicants must meet the basic criteria of citizenship, age and job experience detailed in each program.
Any qualified person can nominate himself or nominate another qualified person, and all applicants – candidates or applicants directly – must complete the application form available on the center’s website.
The application process requires the following information to be included:
- Personal data and address.
- Details of your current and previous employer.
- Attach all academic certificates (bachelor’s and above).
- Adding two professional references (one of whom must be the applicant’s direct manager).
- Final acceptance into the program requires
submitting a “no objection” letter from the participant’s employer as the
program will be held during working hours.
Review applications
:The candidate application undergoes several stages of review in order to select the most qualified Qatari candidates for the National Leadership Programs
- Initial review to ensure basic standards are met.
- Review of educational qualifications and professional experience by a committee affiliated with the Centre.
- A written evaluation aimed at identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each applicant.
- A group assessment may be required.
- It may require an interview conducted by a
specialized committee at a later stage after passing the previous stages.
Commitment
Attendance to training modules and activities is essential for all participants in national leadership programs, and requires their commitment to allocate the necessary time, energy, and effort.
Program fees
QLC covers all educational material fees, travel costs and expenses, and eligible applicants do not bear any fees when applying for the program or afterwards, we encourage all those who meet the requirements to apply to participate in the programs.
Program Timeframe
1- Programs begin the spring semester and are completed within 12 months.
2- Program activities require attendance for one to five days each month.
3- No activities are carried out during July and August.
